In the 1930s, the visionary founder Etienne Aigner began to celebrate his first successes as an aspiring bag designer He tested his outstanding skills and creative talent at renowned Parisian haute couture houses such as Christian Dior and Hermès.

In the year 1950 Etienne Aigner proudly presented his first own collection in New York marking the beginning of a distinctive brand. The famous “A” logo in horseshoe shape became a symbol of quality and timeless style.
