To make the distribution as comfortable as possible, the padded structure of the hip belt, chest strap, and shoulder straps is of great importance. Perfectly adjusted, your child can easily maintain balance even with a heavier load on their back.

Most popular with girls: With a unicorn as a Motiv and beautiful pastel tones: the "Unicorn" design. Boys find the black model "Tiger Team" the coolest. The Motivs on the School Backpack and accessories can be removed and exchanged. If the unicorn is no longer liked after a year, you can either purchase a new Motiv world or your child can simply carry the School Backpack in the plain design with the picturesque colours.

History

The story of Beckmann School Satchels and School Backpacks began in 1946. The young Olav Beckmann had an idea. After many years of tinkering, the time had come in the early 1950s: the first School Backpack was created. At that time, an innovative and new concept compared to the heavier traditional School Satchel.

The beginnings of Beckmann lie in the family’s living room at the time. It was designed, sewn, and tested – Olav placed special focus on the quality and precision of his products. Since the young inventor did not yet have children of his own, neighborhood kids tested his different models. At the beginning of the 1970s, the breakthrough came with a classic leather School Satchel.

Today

The inventive spirit of Olav Beckmann still shapes the brand today: research is always conducted for the perfect design, highest functionality, and best ergonomics. Models are created according to these principles that withstand the rough school routine for years without problems. Whether filled with heavy books, thrown into the kids’ room corner, or used as a seat cushion – a School Satchel sometimes has a tough life.
