BREE stands not only for the diverse range but also for innovative sustainability. The Lower Saxony-based company works with different materials such as nylon, Polyethylene terephthalate, natural leather, or truck tarpaulin. Sustainability also means using resources efficiently.

Almost every disposable bottle is made from Polyethylene terephthalate. Polyethylene terephthalate is a globally widespread plastic material that pollutes the environment if not recycled. The material does not decompose but breaks down into smaller and smaller parts, which are absorbed by other living organisms and thus enter the food chain. This microplastic is a danger to the environment, but BREE has made something unique out of it – backpacks! The Urban Traveller is made from 100% recycled Polyethylene terephthalate material and comes to market with outstanding properties. It is wrinkle-free, robust, lightweight, weatherproof, and durable and can be recycled again after a long life. An absolute all-rounder with many functions and a simple design.  

The Phenomenon of Natural Leather

Leather has always been a widely used raw material, proven to be robust and versatile. In the past, it was mainly used for furniture, shelters, and blankets; today, it mainly serves as a material for the fashion industry. The Bree couple could identify well with the natural leather material, and it offered them many opportunities to ideally develop ideas.
 

All classics made from natural leather are "Made in Europe" and have established themselves as luxury goods. Using a handbag of the highest quality for many years is a wonderful way of sustainability. The tanned natural leather is produced in a traditional tannery in Hehlen. The tannery places great value on sustainable standards in leather production and carries the quality seal "Der Blaue Engel".

In addition to the classic leather bags, you will also find modern bags made from durable tarpaulin or robust nylon in the range. The company values tradition combined with modern design.
