History

Amid the optimistic and carefree Belle Époque, the bag maker Bonnardel and the tanner M. Bonnex joined forces at the end of the 19th century to create a new leather goods company. The original motto of that time still applies today: "To embody French elegance and pass on our love for beautiful materials and well-crafted leather goods." In the 1980s, the brand underwent a realignment, which in the future would use more colour and fashionable character in its collections and thus position itself in the luxury sector.
